About DABGO
Why DABGO
The possibilities for networking globally have never been better than after the introduction of online business networking services. “Danes Abroad Business Group Online” - in short DABGO - takes full advantage of the internet’s opportunities and offers a service that creates a strong Danish visibility across geography and existing local network groups.
The History
Founded in New York, USA in 2006 by Jesper Løvendahl and taken globally in 2007 in corporation with partner and DABGO Switzerland founder Dan Trampedach.
The Mission
Is through a core of Internet based tools and local in person activities and events to create opportunities for Danes by strengthening theirs – and thereby Denmark’s – network and relations internationally. And also to motivate members to network more effectively and not least to make Danes abroad active ambassadors for Denmark as a good place to do business and make investments.
The Vision
Is to be active and engaged in at least the 20 most important Danish export markets and have a total 25.000 members before year 2010, and thereby actively contribute to the best possible foundation for Danish export, acceleration of Danish business people’s international career opportunities and increase international investments in Denmark.
In 5 years DABGO will be the place where all serious Danish business people abroad and in Denmark with relevant international experience will be visible – a Danish international knowledge- and experience universe.

Martin Holm
Group Manager Brazil
Martin Holm is the Managing Director of GN ReSound Brasil, a subsidiary of the GN ReSound group, which is one of the world’s leading international manufacturers of advanced technology hearing instruments as well as hearing instrument fitting equipment. The GN ReSound Group ranks among the absolute leaders in its industry with subsidiaries in 19 countries and distributors in 60 countries. Mr. Holm has solid international experience with Danish-based global companies, mainly operating in healthcare, but he also has experience from consulting. He has expertise in general management, international sales and business development, key account management, sales effectiveness, B2B, retail, and operations including restructuring and start-up operations in emerging markets and high growth industries, with focus on Latin America. He also has experience from the US, China, and of course the European markets. Mr. Holm focuses on general management, key account management, sales productivity, and sales management processes in international business management and in the company’s subsidiaries globally. He is also involved in consulting projects and is a Guest Lecturer at an International Business Management course at the Copenhagen Business School.

Niels Leidecker
Group Manager Brazil
Since graduating in 1991 in Information Technology Niels has worked within all areas of the product development cycle with a main focus on effective use of technology, optimizing both administrative and productive processes. Offering an indebt understanding of what is critical for the business operation as well as the technological possibilities at hand, he has worked as project/program and IT Development Manager working with clients and project teams in international projects organizations. Having developed an interest for and experience in working within international environments, Niels is today working at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro, teaching Strategic International HR Management at their Master in International Management program. He holds a Master in Management of Technology and lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Christian Uhre
Group Manager Trinidad & Tobago
Christian Uhre is the Business Development Manager at Mainstream Foods Limited; a Trinidadian owned and operated company that holds the franchise rights to Subway restaurants, the number one QSR chain in the world with almost 30,000 restaurants in 87 countries. Since joining Mainstream, Mr. Uhre has been involved in the build out and opening of 10 restaurants from the point of signing the lease, actual build out and eventual opening. In addition to that, he was also heavily involved in the build out and opening of a very successful family restaurant.
Since graduating in 2002 with a Master’s in English and Canadian Studies, Mr. Uhre has worked in areas of general and sales management, organizational, structural and business development. He has substantial experience in key client management, restructuring, reorganization, training and development, retail/wholesale and project management.
