Why DABGO
The possibilities for networking globally have never been better than after the introduction of online business networking services. “Danes Abroad Business Group Online” - in short DABGO - takes full advantage of the internet’s opportunities and offers a service that creates a strong Danish visibility across geography and existing local network groups.

The History
Founded in New York, USA in 2006 by Jesper Løvendahl and taken globally in 2007 in corporation with partner and DABGO Switzerland founder Dan Trampedach.

The Mission
Is to significantly increase opportunities for Danish business internationally by making it easier, more convenient and more effective for Danes and Danish companies to build international relations.

The Vision
Is to be operational in at least the 20 most important Danish export markets, with at least 20.000 members, before year 2009, and thereby contribute to an increase in Danish export, the acceleration of Danish business peoples’ international careers, and an increase in international investments in Danish companies.

Laura Lykkegaard Selander
Group Manager Africa

Laura Lykkegaard Selander moved from Copenhagen to work in Hamburg, Germany in 1991, and settled in 1993 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Since then founded and managed four companies, including extensive business interaction on the African continent.

Laura is an entrepreneur familiar and comfortable with the cultures and customs of South Africa and Africa. She lives in a historic part of Cape Town with her Swedish husband and two sons. A family in love with Africa, safari life, very old Land Rovers, and a solid focus on living life to the fullest.

Laura is also representative for Danes Worldwide, as well as appointed Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador.
